WASHINGTON, D.C., MAY 18, 2015 – The City of Seneca’s utility, Seneca Light & Water, has earned the American Public Power Association’s Safety Award of Excellence for safe operating practices in 2014. The utility earned the 1st Place Award in the category for utilities with 30,000 to 59,999 worker-hours of annual worker exposure. Unwavering Contributions to the United Way Award
The City of Seneca won another award last evening for their Unwavering Contributions to the United Way of Oconee County. Donna Bradley with the City of Seneca accepted the award for the City. Donna coordinates the annual campaign for the United Way and the City of Seneca has continued to grow and make significant donations to the United Way and its Agency Partners.
