Scarborough-Hamer Collection of 19th and early 20th Century Decorative Arts
The City of Seneca and the Seneca City Museums have acquisitioned the Scarborough-Hamer Collection of 19th and early 20th Century Decorative Arts. The Collection was transferred to the City of Seneca from the Scarborough-Hamer Foundation in Eastover, South Carolina. The Collection was exhibited for nineteen years at Kensington Mansion in Eastover, South Carolina until Kensington’s owner, International Paper, closed the Mansion to the public. Seneca High Athletics 1st Annual Bass Fishing Tournament
The first annual Seneca High Athletic Department Bass Fishing Tournament will be held at Broyles Landing on Lake Hartwell on Saturday, September 24. The entry fee is $100 per boat. Cash prizes will be awarded to the top 6 place finishers with $2500 going to the winner. The tournament is sponsored by Oxford Farm in Anderson and 20% of the proceeds will be donated to Mane Solutions, a therapeutic riding program for children.
