WCA Presents "Local Band" Concert Series
The Walhalla Civic Auditorium presents a new ‘Local’ Band Concert Series!!
The Board of Directors of the Walhalla Civic Auditorium are pleased to announce a new Summer ‘local’ band concert series that will start on Saturday, June 2, 2012 and run through Saturday, August 11, 2012.
Each week we will feature local bands grouped together by music category. This series will include Jazz, Blues, Rock, Country, Bluegrass, Storytelling and Civil War music.
WCA Board president Nancy Carter stated “Many of our patrons have told us of the wealth of local music talent there is in our area. We decided to create this series of concerts to give these performers an opportunity to perform on our stage and our Golden Corner community an opportunity to see these bands in a real concert hall setting. Given our still soft economy we set our admission prices low at $10 ($5 for children under 12) so that an entire family could afford a great night of musical entertainment without breaking their budget.”
