Character Carnival at Chick-fil-A of Seneca



Let’s Rock the World with Good Character!
Thank you so much for being a part of the 2013 Core Essentials Character Carnival at Chick-fil-A of Seneca! It is very special to have each of you join with us to reinforce the character values the children are studying in the Core Essentials Character Education Program at the schools in our community. The date of the carnival is Friday, April 26th and it is fast approaching with just a few days until we all welcome Core Essential students and their families to this special event!









Character Value Exhibitors:

Respect - The Daily Journal

Individuality - H&R Block, Rotary Club, & Crimestoppers Board

Cooperation - Tri-County Worship Center

Compassion - Collins Home & Family Ministries

Determination - Home Depot

Peace – Crosspoint Church

Honesty – Wal-mart

Friendship - United Assembly of God

Patience - First Citizens Bank


Additional Stations:

Red Registration Tent: *All children must register to receive their free Ticket to the Character Carnival!
Guidance Counselors from our Core Essential Schools – assisting with registration and greeting all the Core Essential students.


Soda Fountain Shoppe:

Crosspoint Church will be running our Soda Fountain Shoppe for the Rockin’ 50’s Carnival. They will be serving free Rootbeer and Coke Floats! They will also be helping Chick-fil-A with the Peace exhibit.


Additional Contributors:

Print It! – providing the printing of 7000 flyers for the Core Essential students.

Blue Ridge Electric – providing a Bucket Truck for our parachuting Mini-Moos!

Mountain Music (Michael Sutton) –providing Sound System and since the décor and music will have a 50’s theme, he is providing 50’s music and has contacted some performers for our stage this year.

ONSTARZ (Lanny Wilkie, Mike Adams, & Fud Cater) – A Barbershop Trio that will entertain us with 50’s music.

Wayne Turner – providing 50’s cars on display.

WSNW/WGOG Radio – providing radio promotional spots the week of carnival.

City of Seneca – providing our stage, traffic cones and trash containers.
Seneca Baptist Church –providing our tables and chairs.

Home Depot – in addition to hosting an exhibit, they will provide “barrier gates” that we use for traffic flow and cement blocks for the tents in the event that it is windy.

Julian Davis Allstate Agency (Andy Campbell) – assisting with setup and other carnival operations.
