“Catches for Cancer” Skyhoundz Xtreme Distance

City of Seneca employee Donna Bradley recently competed in the “Catches for Cancer” Skyhoundz Xtreme Distance competition in Douglasville, GA. Donna came home with two first place finishes that qualifies her and two of her dogs to compete in the Skyhoundz Xtreme Distance World Championship, to be held in Chattanooga in September. (2013 Women’s Microdog Xtreme Distance World Champion, and Oconee Animal Shelter dog, Abbey Moose has already qualified to defend her title!)

Her oldest dog, Chase, qualified in the Women’s Unlimited division and Jack, her youngest dog qualified in the Women’s Classic division. Jack is a Phoenix Rising Border Collie Rescue dog that Donna has been fostering for the past 5 weeks. She entered him on a whim, just to see what he could do! Needless to say, he has now found a home!
