Mayberry Comes To Westminster

Mayberry look-a-likes, or Tribute Artists as they like to be called, will be back to entertain folks during the two-day event. Headlining is David Browning, The Mayberry Deputy, who for the last 24 years has portrayed the infamous Barney Fife all over America.
Karen Knotts will be our Official Hostess, and will be presenting “Knott, Knotts, Who’s There?” Getting to know the man behind Barney Fife at The Westminster Music Hall on both Friday and Saturday.

Many other Tribute Artists are slated to return, including: Allan “Floyd the Barber” Newsome, Tim “Goober” Pettigrew, Michael "Gomer" Oliver, Phil “Ernest T. Bass” Fox, Jeff “Howard Sprague” Branch, Kenneth “Otis Campbell” Junkin, Bob “Briscoe Darling” Mundy, and Christy "Andylene" McLendon.

In addition to visiting with folks in the downtown Westminster area the Tribute Artists will take part in several Tribute Artists Shows during the weekend at The Westminster Music Hall.

Other venues are planned along with three Mayberry Day Parades -- one Friday and two on Saturday, a Cruise In featuring vintage autos and tractors, whistling and trivia contests, arts and crafts displays, food venues, silent auction and much more.

On Friday night (05/02) we're bringing back
