JOB ANNOUNCEMENT


The Seneca Light and Water Department is currently accepting applications for the following position:


CASHIER AND/OR CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE


General Responsibilities: Duties include but are not limited to: taking payments from customers and posting them, responsible for balancing a cash drawer and completing reports daily and keeping disconnects for non-payment current. This individual would perform all duties associated with Customer Service using our Account Management System. This would include new accounts, disconnects, service complaints and service orders for all Departments of the City of Seneca. They would work closely with the Servicemen and other department personnel within the City. Assists in other areas of the Billing Department as needed.

Education and Experience: A High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Cashier experience a plus. Experience in the operation of basic office equipment and a working knowledge of computers required.
