The City of Seneca is currently accepting applications for the following position:


This position is under the supervision of the Planning Department and works closely with the Finance Department.

General Responsibilities:
Duties include but are not limited to: assisting in the City of Seneca’s Transit operation, including communicating with director, CATBUS, SCDOT and the public, completing grant applications, maintaining, reporting, closing, and archiving grants.

* Answer calls and emails regarding transit
* Be knowledgeable of all CATBUS routes and schedules
* Report valid complaints on Contact form and submit to director
* Maintain transit grant records
* Maintain information on transit metrics
* Communicate status of transit operations with director
* Complete reports to SCDOT
* Maintain office supplies at Transit Maintenance Facility.
* Fill in for other positions within the department, as required.
* Performs related duties as required.

Education and Experience: Requires a high school diploma or GED equivalent with specialized course work in general office practices, such as typing, filing, accounting, and bookkeeping supplemented by one year of related experience; or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
