The City of Seneca is currently accepting applications for the following position:

Municipal Court Clerk

Performs a wide variety of specialized clerical, accounting, and administrative support for the Municipal Court for the City of Seneca. Reports to the Municipal Judge, executing administrative policies as determined by, in conjunction with, or in the absence of Municipal Court Officials. Must work well with the public, including working with upset citizens. Required by Court Administration to receive and maintain continuing legal education credits each year. There may be limited periods of twenty-four hour, on-call status.

Minimum Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent with course work in typing and/or modern office practices and
• Five years of related experience in clerical, secretarial, paralegal or administrative work or
• Any equivalent combination of education and experience
• Excellent computer skills with programs such as Excel, Word and other software programs
• Cash handling experience such as banking or finance a plus
