The City of Seneca is now accepting applications for the position of Planner. Duties include but are not limited to providing technical support to the City of Seneca Planning Commission, City Council Planning Committee, Zoning Board of Appeals and Board of Architectural Review. Planning functions focus on research, report preparation, and data gathering on land use, zoning and general planning issues. The Planner will also be assigned specific responsibilities in site plan review, site inspections, code enforcement, and compiling information for grant applications and grant administration. The Planner reports directly to the Director of Planning and Development.

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Planning or related field. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential as well as general customer service. Ability to maintain effective working relationships with other City departments and the general public.
