The Seneca Police Department is currently accepting applications for the following position:






Basic qualifications include a minimum age of 21, high school graduate or equivalent, excellent physical condition, good moral character, excellent communications skills, and able to withstand a rigid background investigation, including polygraph.


This position will require being assigned to either the Seneca Middle School or Seneca High School on a regular basis. The position will further require, but not limited to, attendance of all after school events in a security capacity, criminal and general complaint investigations occurring on school grounds or on school buses, traffic control and direction at assigned school as needed and adherence to all SDOC requirements for the position of School Resource Officer.


Applications will be accepted from SCCJA certified officers until filled.
