The Seneca Light and Water Plant is accepting applications for the position of Cross-Connection Control Technician. Under general supervision of the Auxiliary Water & Sewer Superintendent, applicant will maintain and enforce the Seneca Light & Water Cross-Connection program; will investigate and inspect backflow assemblies for compliance to regulations; will coordinate with customers and private contractors regarding appropriate placement of backflow assemblies; will maintain appropriate records, files and documentation and will perform other related work as assigned.

Applicant must possess a High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Applicant must have a Department of Health and Environmental Control certified tester’s license (or the ability to obtain license within six months of hire date). Applicant must have a valid South Carolina Driver’s License. Applicant will also need PC literary skills in a Windows environment with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products: PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
