The Finance/Clerk-Treasurer’s office provides assistance to the Mayor, the City Administrator, the various department heads, employees, and the public. Our office maintains the listing of job openings for all the Seneca Light & Water Plant and City of Seneca departments.
Our office also helps new businesses moving into the city limits of Seneca and the annual renewal of business licenses for businesses located in Seneca. See below for more information about acquiring a City of Seneca business license.
Our Accounts Payable Clerk processes the requests for payment for Seneca Light & Water and the City of Seneca. Our Human Resource office is available to all Seneca Light & Water and City of Seneca employees.
You will find information about the City of Seneca’s operating budget and audited financial statements. In the 2009/2010 year end financials, the City of Seneca auditor’s, Stancil, Cooley, Estep and Stamey, gave the City of Seneca an unqualified opinion. The City of Seneca has had held this rating for several years.
